Boyd Security was founded in 1982 by Sgt. Mark Boyd of the Norman Police Department, who recognized a growing need for dependable armed patrol and security guard services for local businesses, apartment communities, and private entities throughout the Norman area. Built on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and service to the community, the company quickly earned a reputation for reliability and trust.
While Boyd Security no longer provides security officers or patrol services, the company has continually evolved alongside the security industry. Today, we specialize in the installation and monitoring of intrusion alarms and access control systems for both residential homes and commercial businesses. As technology advanced, so did we—expanding our services to include modern video surveillance systems, live video monitoring, and fully integrated automation solutions for homes and businesses.
