Our Story
Boyd Security began in 1982, when Sgt. Mark Boyd of the Norman Police Department started a patrol company to protect Norman’s Mile of Cars. At the time, the dealerships were frequent targets of vandalism and theft, and local businesses needed someone they could trust to keep watch. That patrol work grew to include apartment complexes and eventually evolved into residential and commercial burglar alarm and fire system installations with 24/7 professional monitoring.
